Full details of the blockbuster trade here:

If you’ve been following along the past few days you’d know something was in the works between these two organizations

And after a 1-3 start with some less than stellar performances our sources led us to believe the idea of trading star quarterback Lamar Jackson was pain point between the ownership group.

A day later and looks like a decision has been made. Initial reports were that amongst the haul of players they received in the trade The Conglomerate were seeking AJ Brown in return, but that quickly ended discussions as A Shot and a Beer view their keeper as untouchable. A night to think it over and a counter-offer from A Shot and a Beer and two teams have agreed to compromise and change the scenery for a few of their players. Here’s what A Shot and a Beer thought of the deal:

ASAAB refuse to sit still and not look for way to grow their team. Championship or bust. We Believe Lamar Jackson helps us win a championship. Simple

A Shot and a Beer

Desperate to keep Lamar Jackson, The Conglomerate found themselves with an offer that was simply too good to refuse. Almost an entire new starting lineup will be on the field in week 5 for a team that has been looking to shake things up. Meanwhile, A Shot and a Beer will trot out a similar lineup that has so far aided them to a perfect season, but this time around they’ll be lead by the highest scoring player in the league through 4 weeks.

Much needed depth aids The Conglomerate as they look to take the league by storm. Will Lamar Jackson be enough to push A Shot and a Beer over the edge? Time will soon tell. For now many in the league are wondering just what the team will do from here considering they only have one (two with the addition of Mike Boone this morning) healthy running backs on their roster.

However, A Shot and a Beer are adamant they love their team and are not in search of a running back. We expect them to pick some new faces up on the waiver wire to bolster their team now that they have two open roster spots.
