Should They Stay Or Should They Go?

Read Time:2 Minute, 55 Second

The offseason is coming to a close. As teams scramble to figure out how they’re going to beat the Crock Pot Boys this season, the team at POM (Picked Off Mag, it’ll stick) mapped out possible keepers in the Dad Bods this season.

The Big Dawgs

Antonio Gibson: $1

Antonio Gibson is coming off a quiet year after a stellar rookie campaign. Currently being valued at $14.4 in drafts, grabbing this 1,000 yard rusher seems like a no brainer.

Hips and Nips

D’Andre Swift: $22

Swift, a hot commodity in the trade market last year, was held onto by Hips and Nips at the deadline. Injuries remain a concern, but there is no doubt that this team is getting a steal with Swift’s average draft salary being $37.2.

Oprahs Clunge

Travis Etienne Jr.: $1

The Clunge focused on the ’21 season while always keeping an eye on ’22 in last year’s draft. Etienne was a late scoop by the team knowing he’d be their guy this year. The move seemed to pay off, Etienne’s average draft salary this year is $8.8

Bon Jourvi

Jamaar Chase: $9

In case they haven’t shouted it from the rooftops enough, Bon Jourvi’s sure fire keeper will be Chase. With an average draft salary of $52.0, Bon Jourvi will keep the 2021 Offensive Rookie of the Year for the foreseeable future.

A Shot and a Beer

AJ Brown: $14

A Shot and a Beer will likely keep AJ Brown. The receiver found a new home this offseason in Philadelphia and a very high powered offense. His average draft salary is $21.1

The IC Lighters

Jonathan Taylor: $49

The IC Lighters will likely look to keep the number one rusher in 2021 on their team this season. Taylor’s average draft salary is $60.4. Although it’s not likely he meets the 1,811 rushing yards he had last season, there’s some serious value in this pick.

My Wife Left Me

No one

A Picked Off Mag first. There isn’t a player on My Wife Left Me that would save the team money in this year’s draft. Honestly didn’t even know this was possible.

McTangos Kryptonite

Joe Mixon: $40

Another tough call for the team at POM (it’s catching on). Mixon’s average draft salary this year is $40.7. It might be worth locking him in to avoid a bidding war.

Team Scull and Pang

Justin Jefferson: $2

The best keeper in the league (so far). The boys will be getting a top receiver for the third year in a row for elite value. Jefferson’s average draft salary is $53.8.

Team Diversity

Cooper Kupp: $21 OR Derrick Henry: $20

Massive decision for Team Diversity ahead of this year’s draft. The team has had Henry as a keeper for quite some time, but Kupp’s breakout season might make this decision more challenging than ever.

The Conglomerate

Jaylen Waddle: $7

Waddle was a nice pick up for The Conglomerate in last year’s draft. With his average draft salary at $21.0, the team should start the draft with a solid receiver on the roster

The Crockpot Boys

CeeDee Lamb: $14

The Crockpot Boys should look to bolster their receiving core with Lamb. The current average draft salary for Lamb is $39.8. Only another reason the league should be shaking in their boots for what the Crockpot Boys have in store this season.
